Emily Clarke
My name is Emily Clark, I am one of the vocal coaches for Maestro Minds School of Music. I grew up in Eastern PA, and moved out to the Pittsburgh area in 2018. I attended Grove City College, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Minor in Music Performance with a concentration in Voice. I also danced in Grove City’s dance troupe, Orchesis, and played the violin in the ensembles. During my time abroad in Australia, I studied both psychology and performing arts, and was a member of the Sydney University Musical Society Small Group (the auditioned chamber choir for Australia’s oldest university choir). My area of expertise is in vocal coaching and musical theatre.
Currently, I am working on my Doctor of Counseling Psychology (Psy.D.) at Chatham University, where I also earned my Master of Arts in Psychology. In my free time, I love hanging out with my fiancé, Johnny, and our adorable corgi puppy named Gumbo! I am stoked to get back into music part-time! This is the first year since I was four years old that I’ve not been in some form of choir, orchestra, worship team, or musical theatre production—I’ve missed it!
