Mary Magdic

Mary Magdic graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s in music education where she played both violin and viola. Ms. Magdic has been teaching in the Hampton Township School District for 19 years. Ms. Magdic has taught all levels of strings from beginner group lessons to high school orchestra. Currently she teaches K-5 general music and grades 4 and 5 chorus and orchestra.

 

Ms. Magdic has performed with the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra and the Croatian Ensemble for the Pittsburgh Folk Festival.  Ms. Magdic currently performs with the Masterworks Concert Chorale where she is the leader of the alto section, Carica Milica women’s choir, and music director of Ensemble Hrvatski Dom Croatian folk ensemble.  When she isn’t singing, dancing, and music making, Ms Magdic resides in Irwin where she enjoys DYI home improvement projects and cooking!
