Summer Woodrow

I am a graduate of The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg with a Bachelor in Visual and Performing arts – 2020

(Specializing in piano studies)

I have been playing piano for 16 years. I play for social events, and church services. I joined Pitt Greensburg piano/voice studio and took piano lessons and some voice lessons, and also accompanied/collaborated with other students during their performances.

I currently play piano for Apollo Assembly of God. I started teaching piano lessons in college. I’ve been singing ever since I can remember with my family in church groups/choirs, and for social events. I Joined choir in elementary school and continued into middle/high school and college choir. I was a part of the Pitt Greensburg chorale and chamber singers, and thoroughly enjoyed every music class I could take! I am passionate about music and about people! (And cats)

My goal is to make music fun as well as educational, and to create a positive experience in the student’s musical/mental space. I want to use music to create unity between people, and to encourage a shared emotional experience through the use of learned skill and musical expression. I hope to give the student a feeling of self-fulfillment in their own hard work and dedication.
